The 50M is the best javelin for beginning to intermediate throwers because of it's low flex. It has a great center balance point and won't flutter as much as the higher flex rated javelins. The sharp tip makes it easy to throw into a headwind.
The 60M javelin is a step up in throwing ability and technique requirements. More suited for intermediate to advanced throwers, the blunt tip is ideal for throws that have a helping tailwind.
For the most advanced throwers, the 70M javelin requires the best technique and strength. With the highest flex at 7.4, this sharp looking javelin will help your athlete set new records.
Some states require the use of a rubber tipped javelin in High School (AL, ND, NJ, WA). The 55M rubber tip is comparable to the 50M javelin. It can be thrown up to 160' and has a 10.4 flex rating. Also great for practice on turf fields.
Some states require the use of a rubber tipped javelin in High School (AL, ND, NJ, WA). The 65M rubber tip will compare with the 60M javelin. It can be thrown up to 210' and has a 7.5 flex rating. Also great for practice on turf fields.
